This is Part 1 of a 4-part series on The Final Judgment:
Part 1 · Part 2 → · Part 3 → · Part 4 (you are here)
We might fool others with fruit-shaped activity,
but Christ sees the root system—
and the reasons.
Profession Without Obedience Is Self-Deception
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter… but he that doeth the will of my Father." — Matthew 7:21
You post Scripture every day.
You've built a platform in ministry.
And your private life is a graveyard of compromise.
Christ will say:
"I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
Iniquity isn't a slip. It's lawlessness.
Confession with rebellion.
Ministry without surrender.
Motives Will Be Exposed
"Every idle word… they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment."[1]
The jokes. The lies. The spiritual bragging disguised as testimony.
"The Lord… will bring to light the hidden things… and make manifest the counsels of the hearts."[2]
One Man's Funeral
He preached for decades.
He led thousands.
He died with applause and tears.
And in eternity?
Christ said, "I never knew you."
Because fruit—not the microphone—tells the truth.
Judgment Begins with Us
"Judgment must begin at the house of God."[3]
You've heard the truth.
You've memorized it.
And if you keep sinning deliberately, you are not safe—
you are first in line.
"If we sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth… a certain fearful looking for of judgment."[4]
The Season Ends
This is not about earning.
It's about using the open book—while it's still open.
What's growing in you?
- Resentment?
- Lust?
- Envy?
- Or repentance? Obedience? Holiness?
Every tree gets weighed.
Every root gets named.
Now is the time.
To repent.
To abide.
To bear fruit—before the axe falls.
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
— Galatians 6:7
The harvest is coming.
Not to decide what we are.
To expose what we always were.
So let us search ourselves—now—while mercy still calls our name.
